Ham & Hash Brown Quiche

Take 3 cups of frozen hash browns thawed & dry between paper towels.

Put hash browns in a 9 inch pie plate, pressing some up the sides.

Drizzle with olive oil & bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.

In food processor or blender mix 4 oz hot pepper cheese & 4 oz swiss cheese &

2 eggs & 1/2 cup cream

add 6 oz of ham and season well.

Pour over hash brown crust & bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

Serve hot, cold or room temp. Appetizer, Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner.


This is the easiest, tastiest, crunchiest food on earth.

Perfect for a late night snack or crowd pleaser for a party.

Spread tortilla chips on a baking pan

and top with a mixture of shredded monterey jack and sharp cheddar cheese

top with sliced jalapeno peppers and bake for a couple of minutes

then broil for a minute. Serve hot.

You can also add cooked meat or seafood and top with lettuce and sour cream and salsa.


Merry Meatballs

What makes these meatballs merry?

The toothpicks you put in them when you serve them on a platter.

They look as good as they taste!

In a bowl mix 1 1/2 pds ground beef and

1/4 cup of dry seasoned bread crumbs with

1/4 grated Parmesan cheese, 3 tblsp Worcestershire Sauce and 1 egg.

Shape into 1-inch meatballs.

Place on baking pan and cook at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.

Serve party style with your favorite sauce (bottled or homemade) or

simmer with Marinara Sauce and toss with pasta. Make more merry meals.

Pimiento Cheese Paradise

I’m from Charleston, South Carolina and we LOVE our Pimento Cheese.

Use it as a dip, stuff it in Chicken Breast, top off your burger or use it for grilled cheese.

Just mix together shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese

with diced pimientos (roasted red peppers). (Found in the pickles section).

Add enough mayo to bind.

For xtra oooomph add diced jalapeno peppers.


Merry Tomatoes

This is how to get the Party started!

The perfect appetizer to bring. Fun, Easy & Delish!

Place about 30 to 40 cherry tomatoes in a serving bowl and pour in 1 cup of vodka.

Make sure each tomatoe is partially submerged.

In a small bowl combine 1 teasp of celery salt and 1/4 cup of lemon pepper seasoning.

Place the bowl of seasoning next to the bowl of tomatoes along with a small container of toothpicks.

You spear a tomatoe with the toothpick and then dip it in the seasoning mixture. FUN!

Spinach Dip

This is straight-up old-school Spinach Dip like your Mama made,

if your Mama was the type to make Spinach Dip.

Mix together the following:

1 pkg chopped frozen spinach, squeezed dry

1 can of slivered water chestnuts

3 green onions, chopped

1 pkg Knorr vegetable soup mix

1 cup sour cream

1 cup mayonnaise

You can serve this in a bowl or a hollowed-out round bread. This is ALWAYS the most popular dip at partys. It’s delicious.

Crockpot Mushrooms in Red Wine

It’s a wonderful feeling to have your side dish taken care of so you can focus on your main dish. These mushrooms go great with any meat or as an appetizer.

In your crockpot add 1 pound of fresh mushrooms that you have cleaned and trimmed.

Add (at least) four cloves of garlic, minced.

Add 1/4 cup of chopped onion and 1 tblsp olive oil.

Pour in a cup of wine and mix it all together.

Cook on low for 6 hours. These are truly Magical Mushrooms.


Mexican Melted Cheese Dip

My family’s ALL-TIME favorite Dip.

Saute chopped onion, jalapenos(fresh or from a jar) and garlic until soft.

Add shredded cheese. The best is a combo of Sharp Cheddar and Montery Jack, but use whatever you have, if you must.

Pour in some pickeled jalapeno juice and stir over low heat until smooth and melted.

Serve with tortilla chips or crackers.


The Secret to a Great Appetizer

What’s the best way to get the party started?

Cream Cheese.

It’s true.

The basic ingredient for a great dip…hot or cold.

Take a block of cream cheese and top with your favorite Salsa and serve with tortilla chips. This is way better then regular chips and salsa.

Take a block of cream cheese and top with artichoke relish or your favorite jam and serve with crackers.

Melt the cream cheese and add spinach or chopped artichoke hearts or crab meat. There’s no crime in using all three. Serve with toasted french bread slices.

Whatever your favorite ingredients the chances are it goes with cream cheese and works great as an appetizer.
