Place chicken pieces in seasoned flour & coat well.
Brown chicken in a skillet & place in a sprayed baking pan.
Combine 1 cup of barbecue sauce & 1/2 cup of orange juice.
Pour over the chicken & cover & bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Spoon sauce over the chicken & bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes.
Rinse & dry whole okra.
Toss with olive oil & your favorite seasonings.
Bake at 425 for 25 minutes.
Stir together soft butter & minced garlic & spread on your favorite bread halves or slices.
Sprinkle with spredded cheese (Parmesan or cheddar, etc…).
Bake or broil until bread is toasty & cheese is bubbly.
Mash ripe avocados with a fork. Keep it lumpy.
Add chopped onions, fresh chopped garlic, chopped tomatoe, cilantro & lemon juice.
Sprinkle both sides of 1 pound of boneless pork loin chops with salt & pepper & rosemary.
On medium high heat brown them 2 minutes on each side. Lower heat & cover & cook 2 minutes more.
In a bowl mix 1/2 cup of apple butter & 4 tsp of horseradish & 2 tblsp apple cider vinegar.
Pour pan juices over pork chops & serve with apple butter mixture.
Rinse the squash & place in the crockpot whole.
Pour in 1/3 cup of water. Cook on low for 8 hours.
Remove & cut in half & scrape out the seeds.
Season with butter & cinnamon. You can also drizzle maple syrup over it.
Melt 2 tblsp brown sugar & 1 tblsp butter. Add 1 banana that has been peeled & sliced lengthwise.
Saute until tender. Sprinkle with a dash of cinnamon.
Pour 1 oz of light rum over the banana & light to flame.
Baste with the warm liquid until the flame burns out. Serve over ice cream.
Bring 1 cup vinegar, 1/2 cup of sugar, 2 teaspoons of dry mustard & salt & pepper to a boil.
Remove from the heat & add 1 cup of vegetable oil.
Pour over 1 large head of chopped or shredded cabbage , 1 chopped onion & one chopped green or red pepper. Mix.
Cover tightly & refrigerate over night.
Simply blend strawberries & mix with chilled Champagne. What a refreshing drink!
On tinfoil place sliced lemon, salmon, butter & seasonings. Wrap tightly. Bake at 300 degrees for 25 minutes.
