Quick Buttermilk Biscuits

Stir together 2 1/4 cups of Bisquick, 1/3 cup of buttermilk & 5 tbsp of melted butter until blended.

Put dough on a lightly floured surface & knead 2 times.

Pat to 1/2 inch thickness & cut with 1 1/2 inch round cutter.

Place on cooking sheet coated with cooking spray.

Bake at 450 degrees for 8 minutes. Brush tops evenly with 1 tbsp melted butter.

 

Easy Ravioli Bake

Spread 3/4 cup of pasta sauce in a 13 x 9 inch baking pan (coated in cooking spray).

Arrange 1/2 a package of frozen cheese-filled ravioli in a single layer over the sauce.

Top with 3/4 cup of pasta sauce and 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.

Repeat layers once, starting with the ravioli.

Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese.

If you want this meaty, add your favorite meat in the layers such as pepperoni or hamburger, etc..

Cover with foil and bake 40 minutes. Remove foil & bake 20 minutes longer.

Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.

 

Smoked Gouda Grits

Bring 6 cups of chicken broth

& 2 cups of milk to a boil. Season.

Gradually whisk in 2 cups of quick-cooking grits.

Cover, reduce heat & simmer, storing occasionally about 8 minutes.

Add 2 cups of shredded smoked Gouda cheese & 3 tbsp of butter.

Stir, Season & Serve.

Crock Pot Hawaiian BBQ Chicken

Only 3 ingredients.

Spray Crock Pot with cooking spray.

Place 4-6 boneless chicken breasts in Crock Pot.

Cover with a bottle of Hawaiian BBQ sauce. (Target’s Archer Farms makes a good one.)

Empty in a 20 oz drained can of pineapple chunks.

Cook on high for 2 1/2 hours or low for 5 hours.

Shred chicken with a fork & mix with the sauce. Serve over rice or pasta.

Pineapple Casserole

Drain 1 (20oz) can pineapple in chunks  (save 3 tbsp juice).

Combine 1/2 cup of sugar & 3 tbsp all-purpose flour.

Stir in the pineapple juice.

Stir in the can of pineapple and 1 cup of shredded Cheddar Cheese.

Spoon into a greased 1 qt baking dish.

Combine 1 cup of buttery cracker crumbs & 3 tbsp of melted butter &

sprinkle over the pineapple mixture.

Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Bacon Wrapped Shrimp

This is so simple & delicious.

Wrap 18 large shrimp (peeled & deveined) with 18 slices of bacon (that have been cut in half).

Season.

Heat a frying pan and add 2 tbsp of oil.

Add the shrimp & cook about 6 minutes, turning often. Make sure the bacon is crisp.

Drain on a paper towel. These are great served over a mound of cheese grits.
