This is one of my favorite casseroles.
Just mix a can of drained tuna with cream of celery soup.
Add a little milk and chopped water chestnuts (my favorite part).
Mix in some cooked macaroni noodles (or any noodles you like to use) &
a little shredded cheddar cheese and season.
Put in a casserole dish (or ramekins) and top with a mixture of panko bread crumbs & shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. That’s tasty Tuna.
Pour this over anything!
Melt 1 cup of butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add 2 cups of sugar & 2 tsp of lemon juice.
Cook, stirring constantly with a long-handled wooden spoon about 9 minutes until mixture turns light golden brown.
Gradually add 1 cup whipping cream and cook, stirring constantly about 2 minutes.
Take 3 cups of frozen hash browns thawed & dry between paper towels.
Put hash browns in a 9 inch pie plate, pressing some up the sides.
Drizzle with olive oil & bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
In food processor or blender mix 4 oz hot pepper cheese & 4 oz swiss cheese &
2 eggs & 1/2 cup cream
add 6 oz of ham and season well.
Pour over hash brown crust & bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
Serve hot, cold or room temp. Appetizer, Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner.
Make this the night before & you have a meal ready when you are.
Mix 3 cups of chopped cooked chicken &
2 cups of uncooked large elbow macaroni with
1 10oz can of cream of mushroom soup & 1 10oz can of cream of chicken soup &
1 soup can of milk &
1 soup can of chicken broth &
1 small onion, chopped &
1 8oz can of sliced water chestnuts &
1/2 pd of grated cheese.
Put in a 9 x 13 in pan covered with cooking spray.
Sprinkle more cheese and 1 cup of crushed potato chips on top.
Cover with foil & refrigerate until ready to serve.
Bake, covered for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Delicious dinner done.
In a large skillet over medium heat cook 2 peeled & sliced bananas in
2 tbsp butter for about 5 minutes until golden.
Spoon over your favorite fresh-made or cooked-from-frozen pancakes (or waffles).
Serve with syrup. What a way to start the day!
This is my Husband’s & my Sister Lisa’s favorite side dish that I make.
Crumble 1/2 stack pack of saltine crackers into a pie pan.
Mix in 1/4 cup of melted butter.
In another pan sauté 3 cups of sliced onions in 2 tbsp butter until tender. Season.
In a bowl mix 2 eggs with 3/4 cup of milk.
Put the onions in the crust, pour milk mixture over & sprinkle with 3/4 cup grated cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Wonderful.
The ULTIMATE good-for-you food.
In a bowl combine:
2 -6-oz cans of salmon, boned, skinned & drained
2 egg whites
dash or two of Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup of finely chopped onion
salt & pepper
5 crackers, crushed.
Shape into six patties.
In a skillet cook patties in 2 tbsp olive oil over medium heat 2 minutes on each side.
Good for you!
In a small bowl combine 2 tbsp honey & 1 tbsp Dijon mustard & 1 tbsp lemon juice.
Broil or grill your chicken pieces
and baste with the honey mustard mixture.
You don’t need an ice cream freezer and this takes five minutes to prepare.
Place 1 container (24oz) of frozen sweetened strawberries in the blender.
Whisk together 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream in a bowl.
Start blending the berries and slowly add the cream/sugar mixture.
Stop the blender and stir it up a few times until the ice cream is smooth with small bits of berries.
Transfer to a shallow pan and freeze at least an hour.
Amazingly creamy fresh berry flavor!
This exotic & refreshing slaw can be served cold or warm.
Just mix a bag of broccoli slaw or cabbage slaw with Asian salad dressing.
I like honey ginger dressing. Toss & serve.
Make it ahead and refrigerate while you cook the rest of the meal.
