Baked Cheese Grits

Grits make the perfect side dish.

These are not just for Breakfast.

In a pot bring 2 cups of water or chicken broth to a boil.

Add 1/2 cup of quick-cooking grits. Stir.

Add in one beaten egg. Stir.

Remove from the heat and stir in 1 cup of shredded cheese (your favorite or what needs to be eaten) and 1 tblsp of butter.

Spoon the grits into a 1-quart casserole pan and bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.

These cook while you finish the rest of your dinner. They are great with anything!
