This is my GO-TO receipe for a great and easy dessert.

In a mixing bowl, add:

1 package of German chocolate cake mix

1 egg, beaten

1/2 cup of melted butter

1 cup of chopped nuts

Mix this all together and press into a greased 13″ x 9″ baking pan and set aside.

In another bowl mix:

1 package (8 oz) of softened cream cheese

1 cup of sugar

2 eggs, beaten

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Beat until smooth and spread over the cake batter mix in pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.
